Blogging on EFinancialCareers, with advice for job applicants, Emma Johnson discusses the pet peeves of metro area headhunters and hiring managers in “Recruiter Pet Peeves – Are You Guilty?” Ms. Johnson interviewed a number of major recruiters, including Adam President Catherine Palmiere.

Catherine says she wonders what else an unemployed applicant is hiding when the resume says “to present” as if the applicant were still employed. But that’s not all. Ms. Palmiere is also put off by resumes written in the third person, which she says read like obituaries!
