New York Job Coach, Catherine Palmiere, Adds Free BlogTalkRadio Show to her Repertoire
Well known New York CEO, Catherine Palmiere, has launched her first Radio Show through the popular online radio network, BlogTalkRadio. Ms. Palmiere has been a whirlwind tour since her book first book was published by Pearson in April, and shared in her first broadcast that she wanted to use her radio show as a way to stay true to her mission of encouraging the ever-growing mass of job seekers to remain optimistic and focused.
Ms. Palmiere’s workbook, “Unlocking the Door to Your Career – Guidelines to Finding the Perfect Job and Taking Charge of Your Life,” was a great step in that direction — filled with hands-on exercises and real-world tips for job seekers, it’s a no-brainer at $16. (Copies of the book are available at http://www.PalmiereCareerServices.com.)
A Certified Career Coach, Ms. Palmiere is also the President of Adam Personnel, Inc., Adam Temporary Services, Inc. and the Owner of Palmiere Career Services, as well as an adjunct teacher at the prestigious New York Grace Institute, where she teaches office policies and practices.
Ms. Palmiere’s Radio show will be an in-depth thirty minutes of advice and insights into the tough job market. The first presentation was on May 11 and focused on two main areas: One: What to do if you’ve lost your job, and Two: Turning a temporary or contract position into a real opportunity. (You can hear this entire broadcast on Ms. Palmiere’s blog: www.YourCareerMentor.blogspot.com.)
As Ms. Palmiere explains, the 1-2-3 of “what to do next” can be encapsulated as follows:
Step 1. Do not panic. No matter what our situation in life, panic only distracts us from opportunities and solutions.
Step 2. Don’t delay! Immediately reach out and let everyone in your circles – both professional and personal – know that you’re looking for a new opportunity.
Step 3. Finally, the most important thing you can do is be open. Be open to help. Be open to ideas. And be open to your own unique brilliance! A changing job market is an opportunity to rethink things. “What was it you wanted to do with your life,” is a great question to start out with. The answers to that may very well create their own inspiring solutions.
The Radio Show is called: Your Personal Job Coach and will be featured every Monday evening at 5:30. The next topic will be: “The Job Search: How to Stand out in the Crowd!” There is no prior registration, the call is simply open to all job seekers by calling the guest line at 646-595-4020. There will be a question and answer period toward the end of the call, and Ms. Palmiere is a fantastic expert to reach out to around any area of the job market.
In addition to her book, she is also a sought after corporate consultant and speaker and has been featured as an industry expert on Cable NY1, and AMNY.com. Ms. Palmiere is a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches, the Society for Human Resource Management, and Career Directors International. She has been recognized in multiple Who’s Who editions since 1995.
