GoSavant.com – an Online Home to Find Coaching, Virtual Job Training, and Opportunity
Since the recession began, the numbers of unemployed Americans have become mind boggling. At this point, a full TEN PERCENT of our nation is unemployed, and who knows how many have left hugely successful careers to take lesser roles until this passes, leaving their families and households facing difficult struggles, even for the basics.
Being a job coach and employment expert, I’ve always felt that I’m in a unique position to support those who have been left orphaned in the economic downturn and to help them not only to create new job opportunities, but to continue their careers in whatever means available to them – through temporary or contract work, freelancing, or even starting their own businesses where possible.
I’ve done many things since this downturn started to take root – I launched a popular Facebook Group where I send career tips and personal development tools, I write this blog, and I run my BlogTalkRadio show each week (at 5:30pm EDT Monday evenings), where I offer thirty minutes of in-depth advice on creating real job solutions, no matter what hurdles may be out there. (There is no prior registration for my radio shows, job seekers and freelancers can simply call the guest line at 646-595-4020.)
Most recently, on July 28th, I began working with the popular career training marketplace that offers video-based learning, live career coaching, and job resources, GoSavant. Working with GoSavant, I will share my thirty years of job coaching through their new, online format and collaborate in a way that will continue to encourage and educate the ever-growing mass of job seekers to remain optimistic, focused and successful in their search. GoSavant is an easy-access career training marketplace, offering video-based learning and live job coaching resources. It is the first virtual training marketplace to offer individuals and businesses a cutting-edge platform to facilitate learning through interactive real-time coaching by using a team of experienced authors, public speakers, and job coaches – and I’m fortunate enough to qualify on all three levels.
Using a small group of expert coaches and interactive video-based learning portals, GoSavant hopes to inspire the entire spectrum of job seekers to remain armed and ready when that right opportunity presents itself. From new college grads to well-seasoned executives, the economic crisis has left our entire nation either unemployed, underemployed, or afraid that we’ll be the next one to fit into those two categories. Together with GoSavant, I intend to provide guidance and real-world solutions to arm these men and women with knowledge and success strategies in order to continue to be as successful as possible and build their careers.
By offering the myriad of services they have available, GoSavant can provide training across numerous disciplines, offering users an opportunity to obtain live feedback on interviews, resumes, or any other individual career improvement inquiry. Coaches can be contacted for impromptu coaching sessions via webcam when they are online, or users can schedule appointments at their convenience.
GoSavant also offers job-search boards and best career help books, as well as an amazing website of resources for job seekers. You can find all of these job-search supports, as well as their collection of amazing experts at http://www.GoSavant.com.
